MITCH BARNETT- Linebackers Coach
Hi all, my name is Mitch Barnett and I am a North Vancouver native. I graduated from Handsworth Secondary School in 2011 where I was afforded the opportunity to continue my football career at Simon Fraser University. After redshirting my first year, I enjoyed a starting position as the team's
outside linebacker for the following 3 years. I transferred to the University of British Columbia in 2015 and was fortunate enough to be a part of the national championship team. The following year I was drafted into the Canadian Football League where I have spent the last 5 years as a member of the Hamilton Tiger-Cats as well as the BC Lions. I firmly believe that perseverance and a relentless pursuit of excellence can overcome talent and I look forward to instilling these beliefs in the linebackers that I coach.
